CALA’s usual August Long Weekend activities, the Boat Poker
Run and the CALA BBQ have been cancelled for 2020.
The CALA Executive decided that even if Ontario’s COVID19 restrictions
against large group gatherings were to be lifted prior to that weekend, very few and perhaps no CALA members would be comfortable attending and/or hosting these events.
CALA’s Annual General Meeting, usually held in conjunction with August long weekend Fellowship events, is being postponed and its format altered. The AGM will be re-scheduled to a late September date. We are planning to hold it in a virtual, on-line format, likely Zoom. Date and time and details for participating in the meeting are being investigated and will be communicated when determined.
